12 Shops of Christmas
Win a collection of Augusta merchandise. In cooperation with the Augusta Rotary Club, Augusta businesses and the "2009 White Christmas Parade", there will be a "12 Shops of Christmas" contest. Shoppers simply need to visit at least 12 of the participating businesses from November 20 through December 19 (White Christmas Parade evening), and get the entry form signed by the business. After a contestant gets at least 12 stores to sign the form, the form can then be turned in to any participating business or at City Hall's night deposit. Completed forms are due by 4:00 P.M., Saturday, December 19, 2009. The drawing will be held on December 19, during the parade. No purchase is necessary. You do not need to be present to win.

THE AUGUSTA ROTARY AND THE CITY OF AUGUSTA WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS IN HISTORIAL AUGUSTA KENTUCKY, HOMETOWN OF ROSEMARY, NICK AND GEORGE CLOONEY. DURING THE DAY THE TOWN FEATURES 12 SHOPS OF CHRISTMAS, CHILI COOKOFF, ELF CONTEST AND SANTA WILL BE ON HAND AFTER THE PARADE TO LISTEN TO ALL THE CHILDREN`S WISH LIST AND THE ROTARY WILL PASS OUT FREE TREAT BAGS TO ALL THE CHILDREN.
Chili Cookoff
The Augusta Rotary and City of Augusta invites you to enter in the 1st annual AUGUSTA CHILI COOKOFF being held at 4pm on December 19th 2009. Rules are simple: All recipes are invited. Please have around a gallon of chili as all chili is being donated to the Augusta Fire Dept for sale during the parade. 1ST Place to be given and winner will appear in the 2009 parade book too!
LAST YEAR PARAMOUNT STUDIOS TAPED THE PARADE FOR THE RE-RELEASE OF WHITE CHRISTMAS DVD. THIS YEAR PROMISES TO HAVE SEVERAL SURPRISES FOR THE CROWD!
